Abstract
Digital textbooks replacing print textbooks is a new challenge entering the classroom. Digital course materials are being incorporated into the curriculum in small portions. Electronic reading devices are maturing to facilitate the adoption of all materials digital. This project outlines research investigating whether positive thinking leadership engages faculty, as curriculum developers, towards the change to adopting digital textbooks as integral components of their course. Using appreciative inquiry for discovery of faculty experiences, this project consisted of questionnaires and interviews with faculty in an attempt to capture both the learning and teaching experiences they found engaging. A key theme that emerged was that the change faculty are interested in is a digital textbook book that offers more than the print textbook. --Leaf ii. |
