j) k) 1) m) n) =| '9. = Steam plant average 2100 CFM at 0.048 GR/SCF over years 1970 through 1976. For 1970 estimated as 0.5% tons dried. For 1973 based on 0.25% tons dried. For 1974 and later, annual average 60000 CFM at 0.03 GR/SCF for 300 operating days annually. For 1970 to 1974 inclusive, estimated as 500 tons per year loss (equivalent to 2.3 Ibs. loss per minute over 300 operat :4 days.) After 1974, it has been proposed to install fabric filter baghouse to building and vent. Say, 20000 CFM at maximum annual average 0.03 GR/SCF equivalent to emission of 19 tons per year. Although process and dust control air is filtered and recirculated, the occasional fugitive loss does occur and has been estimed as perhaps 0.5 Ibs. per minute for 300 days per year. It is hoped that air system improvements and better housekeeping/work habits can reduce this by half before 1976. During 1975 the Concentrator construction will be com- pleted at the Millsite, making the mine facility obsolete. The New Concentrator is baghouse equipped, filtered air to be recirculated and not emitted to atmosphere. As a result, it is anticipated only occasional fugitive dust losses may occur. The value of 5 tpy has been assigned to reflect this. To 1974, Mill Tailings dust losses are estimated at 0.5% of tailings tonnage, as the material was extremely dusty and deposited by swivel pilers. During 1974, a dust agglomeration system was in- stalled, reducing dust losses to 0.02% after installa- tion. Thus 1974 tailings loss is 0.26% tailings tonnage. During 1975, an additional 100 to 150 tph reject material will be contained in the tailings, resulting in an estimated 1.08 million tons material. Average dust loss for future tailings, taking into account the dust agglomeration process also, are estimated at 0.03% of combined tailings tonnage.
