oCassiar Cheistmas: Party Cassiar Asbestos tried a new idea this year for their annual Christmas Party and from all reports it was very well received by all those who attended. 400 guests were greeted at the entrance by Mr. & Mrs. Jim Murdoch, where corsages were pinned on all the ladies. The entertainment was provided by Smiling Johnnies Trio whose old time style of music was enthusiast- ically enjoyed from 9 to 2 a.m. The buffet supper, part of which was cleverly disguised as a sailing ship, was created by the Cafeteria Staff. The beautiful display titillated the senses and a while later, after admiring the artistic presentation everyone enjoyed the scrumptious food. All would like to thank Humour & Happiness the Cafeteria Staff for the many, many from the Hosp ital hours and skill it took to prepare such a feast. Patient: "You've got to help me, Doctor. Liquid refreshments flowed freely and ' I have amnesia." the dancing continued until 2 a.m. when everyone went home tired and happy, full Doctor: "How long have you had it?" of lobster and turkey. Thank you Cassiar Asbestos for a swell evening. Patient" "How long have I had what?" HAPPINESS is - having had Mary and Hine back to relieve the girls for holidays. HAPPINESS is - Elizabeth back after her Maternity leave. HAPPINESS is - having Maggie with us - despite her "tics" and "ice-worms" to relieve Laurie for her holiday - hopefully in the sunshine. ~-vvereo ul tne Community vassiar, I am, : Frank Calder, M.L.A.
