SHINERAMA CAMPAIGN Shineramaca FORTY YEARS GF STUDENTS FIGHTING CYSTIC FIBROSIS 5 unbce’S goal for 2004: $10 000 This year, Shinerama, Canada's largest post-secondary fundraiser, invelving students from approximately 60 university and college campuses, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. While Shinerama began in 1964 as 4 shoe-shining campaign during Orientation week, it has since grown to include a wide variety GE shining and non-shining sctivities under the Shinerama banner.Shinerama students have raised almest $15 million to _ support the fight against cystic fibrosis since the campaign began. In 2003 alone, students surpassed their goal, and raised a record-breaking §952,000 to help fund CCF research and treatment programs -- proving that by working tegether, students really can make a difference in their cemmmities, and in Canadas.
