CONGRATULATI” °'S JOHN KEMP and VAL WHARTON who announced their engagement on March 21st. The wedding will take place on September 13th in Winnipeg, their home town. Karin Kimberley weighed 5 Ib. 13% 0z. and Darin Douglas weighed 5 Ib. 5% oz. They will be going home to Clinton Creek as soon as Polly and the twins have learned to cope with each other. He IE Se. “Ss Fe The early spring wedding of JIM STUART and KATHY PHILIPPON was solomnized on March 28th in Our Lady of Lourdes church. The late afternoon ceremony was followed by a reception in the rec hall main gym. The bride was resplendent in her traditional floor length gown with long billowing sleeves. Her shoulder length veil pouffed out from white satin roses. Her only attendant wore a floor length coral gown and a short white veil. They both carried bouquets of yellow roses. The reception was attended by many people from the area, including Dease Lake and Telegraph Creek. We wish MR. & MRS. JIM STUART every happiness in their life together. All Saints Anglican Community Church was the scene of the April 2nd wedding of ED HANLEY and LINDA SMITH. The evening service was followed by a large reception at the rec hall. The bride chose a floor length full dress of rayon taffeta and a shoulder length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink roses. Her attendants, Kathleen Hanley and Laura Hines wore identical street length dresses of yellow crepe with white lace over-coats. The flower girl, Nancy Smith, wore a charming frock of yellow and white in keeping with the bridesmaids. All three carried nosegays of yellow roses.
