girls who so willingly deliver
the flyers, notices and surveys
to all townsite residents.

- the many citizens that are im-
proving their yards,

- the long awaited opening of the
new RETAIL STORE,

- the girls in the bar for the
excellent job while Rene was on
holidays.

- hours of labor put in on renewing
the pool table,

SCOWLS - to all those who give our delivery
boys and girls a hard time (they
are only doing their job!!

- store avbpaned that park in
front of the retail store all day

- people that take the game out of .
proportion and lose the meaning
of sportsmanship.

- bad sports that don't follow the
field schedule,

Keep smiling. It makes people wonder
what you've been up to.

The friends of Chris and Lynne
Brockhurst of Quartz Creek got together
on June 16th for a good time barbeque to
celebrate Chris and Lynne's Ist Anniver-
sary. There was lots of good food, fun
and refreshments.

IN SYMPATHY... Our sincere sympathies are
extended to the Orville MacLean family on
their recent bereavement.

IN SYMPATHY - Art McAndrew will be well
remembered in Cassiar, having lived here
for approximately ten years.

Art was principal of our local school for
most of those years and left the teaching
profession in January, 1971 to become
Townsite Administrator in Cassiar as well
as Provincial Court Judge for the District.
He was also active in many of our local
clubs and served a term in the Lions Club
as President.

My family and I wish to express our

the Cancer Society, Floral Tributes and
many cards of Sympathy in memory of a
very dear husband, father and grandfather,
Art McAndrew.

Art was a rare jewel who will be sadly
missed by many friends who knew him for
the thoughtful, kind, unselfish gentleman
he was.

The Hospital. Staff would like to thank
the Ladies Handicraft Club for their
generous cash donation, which obtained a
child's Play Pen.

Campbell of Good Hope Lake would like to

Ladies of Cassiar who donated clothing to
the baby girl at Good Hope Lake who was
so desperately in need.
