Tikkenen succeeds Wayne Lenton of Amax of Canada Limited, under whose chairmanship the 1989 Campaign raised over $284,000, the mining industry being the top contributor in the resources last year. Also from the mining in- dustry, Poul Hansen of Highland Valley Copper is serving as the Chairman of the 1990 Children's Hospital Telethon, with Micheal J. fox as the Honorary Chairman and Cyndra Heward as Director.
