Lime Lite Entertainment's
last ODYSSEY dance party
held on January 20th, was
their third party of the
school year, with more than
450 teens and students
from across the city attend-
ing. The party consisted of
two separate areas, one for
the hip hop dance, and one
for rave type dancing with
eight different dj’s, both
local and from abroad.

Throughout the night the
dj’s traded off to help keep
things fresh out on the
dance floor. And fresh it
was, with the majority of the
crowd hanging out at the
hip hop party, bumpin’ and
grindin’ away until the early
morning. The rave scene

however, was also pretty
cool with people busting out
with all their latest moves,
at one point there was even
a couple of guys doing
some crazy martial arts
type stuff, and don’t forget
the likes of Rob Hedges
getting’ down and burning it
up on four wheels.
Apparently there was even
a break dancing competi-
tion that was pretty intense,
and I’m kind of bummed
that | missed it! This is what
it’s all about folks, people
getting out and having fun!

For ten dollars a head, it’s
quite a good deal as far as
I’m concerned, especially
considering the variety of
music and talent of these
dj’s! It must be said that the

show went off without a
hitch, everything was very
well organized, all the staff
members were extremely
helpful and enthusiastic. |
would like to personally
thank Aly for letting me in
free of charge, and also to
the two very charming
young ladies at the coat
check who were willing to
loan me their pen (which
happened not to work, but
hey, it’s the thought that
counts right!?) So there it
is, the next party “Heart
Breaker’ will be going down
this Saturday February the
10th so be sure to get your
tickets early, and we’ll see
you there!
