The Kiskatinaw river flows in a northerly direction acress the east part of the township. Large spruce and tamareck swamps extend on both sides of the river. Two creeks known Locally as Buffalo creeks flow parallel and in a northeasterly corner end are about 3 miles apart. The north one ef these creeks is shown on the map as Tremblay ereek,. The west helf of this township is rough eountry of a high elevation and with the exception of the valley of Tremblay creek me land is suiteble for cultivatione Small areas of lightly timbered parts oceur but these would cnly be suitable for graging purposes. ‘The trail from Fouce Coupe to the soldier settlement passes in the township to the north and from it a wegon treil leads to Trem play creek valley in sections $2, 29, 30 and 19. A good pack trail from the main road enters the town- ship in section 24 and leads in « southerly Jirections Survey pack trails lead to other parts of the town= ship. ‘The Moberly proposed forest reserve occupies the southerly two tiers of this towmship. The land in this part of the township, like in the large cart of the remsinéer, is rough and although not covered with heavy timber, would only be suitable for stock gvaging or reforestation purp oseSe
