Just a Stumble from
_ UNBC Campus

The UNBC Northern Undergraduate Student Society has been

overwhelmed by the continuing support they have received from the community
businesses in Prince George. The local business are always more than willing to help out
donating their time, gift certificates and other extras. In appreciation of our hardworking
volunteer core, NUGSS organized a thank you barbecue on Sept. 28th. We thought it
would: be a lot of fun to be able to give away door prizes. The response we received
when contacting the local businesses for their support was incredible. All of the people
we spoke to were friendly and more than willing to help make our barbecue the great
success it was. One of the most important aspects of our society is our extremely helpful

' volunteer core. Without the hours, labor and dedication of these students many of our

events would not have been such a success. NUGSS would like to thank the following
businesses that enabled us to show our volunteer core a great time for all their
continuing work: ¢

Extra Foods- Provided the great food (and non-alcoholic beverages) within our
limited student budget

Caribou Brewmasters- Provided the excellent freshly brewed beer (that was
enjoyed by everyone except he designated drivers!)
