An in-plant dust agglomeration system treats the fines by

means of water sprays to a paddle-bladed mixer. The dampened

fines are then mixed with coarse elements and the resultant
mix conveyed to an overhanging conveyor which discharges

relatively dust-free materials onto the advancing front of the

tailings pile.

Both man sweeping and mobile vacuum cleaning is used for

cleanup. The collected dust is then discharged to the tailings
