“That’s a dangerous job, we might lose
both rescuer and rescued,” says Harring-
ton.

The Boston Bar rescue crews will use
ex-RCAF intercommunicating systems
this year too, plus a nurse, Mrs. Henry
Campbell of Boston Bar, who can treat
the injured before they ride upstairs in
their sheet steel toboggan.

TAKES HARVARD COURSE

SUB-INSPECTOR C. Ledoux of the
Victoria criminal investigations branch
of the B.C. Police, has taken a course
at Harvard University in legal medicine,
department of homicide investigation at
Harvard medical school.

Mr. Ledoux, a former detective-ser-
geant, along with four others has been
appointed sub-inspector.
