On Friday, October 10th, 1975 at 1:00 p.m. Sara Jane
Krahn and Daniel Roy Connal were united in matrimony by
a civil ceremony officiated by Marriage Commissioner,
Rupert McKenzie at the Cassiar Town Administration Office,
Witnesses for this ceremony were Mrs. Pat Hickman and
Mrs. Paul M. Wood.

The Bride: wore a lovely rust colored dress accented
with a corsage of yellow roses. Mr. & Mrs. Roger Ball
had the Newlyweds for dinner. Sara and Dan are enjoying
their honeymoon in Vancouver. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs.
Daniel Connal.

Mr. & Mrs. Ed Tomashewski of Cassiar, B.C. are
pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter,
Beverly Tomashewski, to Robert Storie, son of Mr. William
Storie of Telegraph Creek. The wedding will take place
at All Saints Community Church with Rev. Peter Nissen
officiating on Saturday, November 8th, 1975.

Like a beautiful thought, all silver-lined,

When I'm walking somewhere or driving through town

Or strolling where friendly stars look down.

And it's easy to see why I can't forget.
For heaven began.when first we met.

No new improvements to announce for the past year
in the Cassiar Library which is open 2:'afternoons and 2
evenings a week. Still plan on preparing a pre-school
corner this winter. Adult and pre-school reading is
brisk with approximately 350 adult books and approximate-
ly 150 childrens and teens books going out. Have
approximately 3,000 paperbacks and these are all carded.

We charge a $10.00 deposit which is refunded when
reader leaves Cassiar and has cut down drastically on
book loss.

Many comments from new comers and new teaching
staff on the excellent library in a small isolated
community.

A Bridal Shower was held for Beverly Tomashewski .on
Monday, October 13th, 1975 at her sister's home, Barbara
Maki. The ladies had alot of laughs playing various
games and enjoyed a nice lunch. Beverly was pleased with
her many gifts and wishes to thank everyone for their
good wishes and gifts. A wedding dress was made for
Beverly out of the wrapping paper and her veil was a
doily with bright bows taped onto it. Best wishes
Beverly and Robert for a happy married life together.
