March 10, 1998 NEWS Over The Edge Page 3 KORNERED ON KAMPUS By Kristina Redion, Photos by Teryn De Smet * Well for this week the col- umn question is a little more intellectual. If you have passed through the winter garden this week you’ve probably noticed the tables set up and people painting away. This is a presentation, brought to you by NUGSS, to raise money for the Art Gallery. This was supposed to have been an issue of con- tempt for those who believe UNBC doesn't have enough funding for it’s own programs. Unfortunately, those people were in hiding when we went in search of opinions. So here are the answers we did get when we posed the question, “How do you feel about UNBC providing support to the Art Gallery?” “How do you on about UNBC providing silet! to.the Art Sie pt “They should. It’s for the com- munity and we want to be part of the community, right?” Mike Pickett - Second Year Forestry “Good. Art is a good thing. It's enrichment of your spiritual life.” Mike Lau - Second Year Tourism “It's good.” Tessa Rhoenizer - First Year General Arts DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE NEW ART GALLERY???
