How did you get started? I used to be a poor gigolo sucking hard just to get by, when one day a john named Sasa Seslija picked me up. I was Julia Roberts and he was Richard Gere. Who writes the songs, and what do they mean? I write the bulk of the material, they mean whatever you want them to. Some. are just about my own life experiences, others are completely fictional ballads. What is your songwriting process? I always write music first, melodic structures are the most important thing also I almost never write with a guitar | (unless of course I'm writing a guitar part) I use my computer a lot and gener- ally when I.demo a song for the band it becomes (after a little polish) the track we use to record the final version of the song. It takes me a long time to write lyrics as I am a perfectionist, certain songs in our repettoire have had lyrics written 6 months later than the music. What song do you wish you wrote? Suffragette City by David Bowie What are key songs by you? That's like asking a Mum who her favorite kid is. Any songs we perform live (not a dry seat in the house).
