The township, with the exception of a small portion in the northeast corner, forms part of the Kiskatinaw proposed forest reserve. The portion in the forest reserve is exceedingly rough country and only suitable for the purpose for which it is reserved. A ledge of rock was seen ex- tending through sections 21, 28, 29 and 22. From this rock Ledge the country arops te the west abruptly, to the valley of the Kiskatinaw river, Some land with patehes” of open extends along the foot of this steed Slope. ‘This land, on account of its position is omly suitable for grazing» Outside eof the reserve the epen land extends right to the foot of the rough country. ‘The lower sic pes of this hilly country are suitable ané are being used for srazing purposes.
