Hogg ‘David y The 1984/85 Cassiar Minor Hockey season has come to a close and the association featured a banquet to present awards to the players and show appreciation to the other members. Not enough gratitude can be given to the various members of the executive and the volun- teer affiliates who worked long hours in the organizing of an event or during the entire season. The banquet featured a wonderful lasagna dinner prepared by the Cafeteria staff. Then the highlight for the players began, the trophy presentations. The Cassiar Minor Hockey Association would like to thank the various sponsors of trophies and medals; without this dedicated support, it would be difficult to have a minor hockey association at all. The following awards were broken down into four size groups and various achievements and they are as follows: £ BANTAM NOVICE ATOM PEEWEE MOST IMPROVED D.J. Pennock _ §. Vidovic T. Penno D. The sponsors who contributed uniforms to the various teams are to be thanked also. They are Brinco Mining Ltd., Peat Marwick, W.S.T.V. and Cassiar Minor Hockey. A special thanks to the people of Cassiar and Erickson for their support in fundraising which was done throughout the year. The 1984/85 executive would also like to welcome the new executive for the 1985/86 minor hockey season and hope their contributions to the association are well received by the community. The players of Cassiar are proud to represent. our area in minor hockey and enjoy the support of the parents and fans alike. Without everyone’s support these kids could not enjoy the sportsmanship and challenge that hockey can give. See you next year! j by Bernd Guderjahn ve M. Carlick D. Liddle Rory McIntosh PEE WEE T.
