This service, which is available to all students, staff, faculty, and members of the community, is completely not- for-profit so members get the cheapest price. What is it: This is an organic food co-op, based on a bin system. Each item is bought in bulk from an organ- ic wholesaler and then divided _ proportionately between members accord- ing to how much produce they want. $20, $30, $40 boxes are available. In order to avoid messiness only whole produce will be distributed, so larger boxes may be compensated with equivalents of smaller items. For example 1/2 Eggplant = 2 Grapefruit. How it works: By Monday each week, the list of 10-12 fruits and vegetables that were ordered will be posted at PIRG’s office and e-mailed to all members. Because the number of available bins is limited every week, members are asked to order as soon as possible to make sure they get on the list. Orders can be picked up Thursday at UNBC in room 5-115 between 12:00 and 18:00. Please note that because no profit is being generated, Summer Camp Jobs in the U.S.A.
