It is an exciting time to be a part of the business program here at UNBC. The Business Undergraduate Student Society (BUGSS) is a committee of business students aimed at plan- ning events, organizing committees, and _ con- tributing to the overall development of the busi- ness program. If you are a business student and wish to volunteer for BUGSS, there are sched- uled meetings on the first and third Friday of every month. - The location of the meetings will be sent out on the BUGSS mail- ing list or posted on the plaque. If you are not on the mailing list and wish to be, you may email .BUGSS president Jeremy Fung at fungj000 @ unbc.ca. Current activities on the BUGSS agenda include: -Becoming an incorpo- rated society in British Columbia; -The development of the many committees within BUGSS; -A semi-formal dinner to be held March 11 at the Coast Inn of the North. The function is to be attended by many mem- bers of the Prince George business community. Dale McMann will be the guest speaker. Further informa- tion about the dinner will be sent out on the BUGSS mailing list and will also be included in the BUGSS page in the next edition of Over the Edge. Recently, the develop- ment of BUGSS has made great progress, but we can always use more help. If you are a busi- ness student and are looking for extracurricular activities to participate in, please feel free to come to our next meeting. This will give you an opportu- nity to offer any ideas you may have, ‘help out in the development of YOUR program, as well as to meet people and make friends in the same pro- gram as you.
