DREAMCATCHER Finally
Stephen Kings terrifying tale of
four friends on a hunting trip in
PG....haha well its suppose to be
Maine, and you can’t entirely tell
that it was filmed here, it was also
filmed in Vancouver as well.
Starring: Morgan Freeman, Tom
Sizemore, Jason Lee, Thomas
Jane, Damian Lewis, Timothy
Olyphant and Donnie Wahlberg
(If only his boy band could see
him now...)

The story starts with Jonesy,
Henry, Pete and Beaver. Friends
of twenty years, years ago they
were just kids in a small town in
Maine i kids who found the
courage to respond heroically to
an act of childhood cruelty they
oversaw one day. In saving the
strange boy named Duddits, they
unexpectedly gained a fifth
friend at,the center of their circle.
Even move unexpected were the
uncanny powers he conveyed to
them, bonding them all beyond
ordinary friendship.

Now the four are men with
separate lives and separate prob-
lems, haunted by the memory of
heroism, and the memories of

Duddits and with powers that are
more of a burden than a gift. .
When a shocking accident
almost claims one of them, they
donit at first recognize the return
of the eeriness that is somehow
linked to Duddits. But when they
reunite for their annual visit to a
hunting cabin in the north woods
of Maine, haha Prince George,
anticipating only the warmth and
humor that nourishes them, they
are overtaken by a gathering
doom. First comes a stranger, a
lost hunter unaware of the terri-
ble contagion he bears. On his
heels is a blizzard, a vicious
storm in which something much
more ominous moves—a deadly
alien force that will consume
some of the foursome and force
those who make it to the end of
the road to once again summon
their forgotten strength—and
confront an unparalleled horror.
Well, the acting is good, the
story is good, and so is the
book....well the first half of it any-
ways its SO long! I enjoyed this
movie. It has so much. It is a
thriller / suspense / comedy / dram
a....but totally worth seeing!

PS: You can also check out The
Last Flight of Osiris. This fusion
of CG-animation and Japanese
anime is one of nine short films
that comprise The Animatrix, a
collection of visual stories that
delve further into the mind-bend-
ing world of The Matrix and the
characters who inhabit it. Since
the first one is coming out soon
we will need to know what hap-
pens in between the first and the
second and that is what this short
film does. Ihave to admit, i'm not
the worlds biggest “anime” type
but this mini film was pretty
indulging. And its on the begin-
ning of Dreamcatcher!
