Garden- ing is one of his hobbies, and the Owen home near the Prison farm is surrounded by one of British Columbia’s typically beauti- ful gardens. Mr. Owen is married and has three sons and a daughter. His eldest son, Walter, is one of Vancouver’s leading bar- risters and Crown Prosecutors.
