Dinners that always have been so well organized and run along so smoothly. | did have two experiences | should perhaps tell you of. In the first case the Host invited me to dinner. Just before he left me , he turned and said, ''oh yes, we' re going to have Roast Beef and Cold Duck''. As the day passed on | kept thinking, Roast Beef and Cold Duck? Thats an odd combination, stil] from previous dinners | was well aware that his wife was an expert in the Culinary Art and that some- thing unusual was in store for me. At dinner my Host, with a big grin said, 'Well for once we fooled old Edwards!" Thats when | found out Cold Duck was a Dinner Wine: At another dinner where | was one of the guests, we all sat down to dinner and that odd little silence fell...! always think that we are waiting to see if the Host is going to say Grace....In this case the Host said, NAS. a rule we don't say Grace'' fully expected him to ask me to. say it. Instead of that he whipped out a starters pistol and fired two shots! Gordon Edwards Gourme t @orner FRUIT JELLY CANDY 2 cans undiluted frozen fruit juice.
