Distribution

This series underlies about 85 per cent of the Barkerville map-area
and extends continuously from the southwest corner to a line running
along the western slopes of Slide mountain, and mounts Murray, Green-
berry, Waverly, Howley, and Guyet. It is the series underlying the main
part of the placer deposits, and placer gold has not been recovered to any
