the driver demanded to know. “We want
all your money and your car” retorted
the spokesman for the hold-up pair, then
“\Where’s your money?” The driver indi-
cated his left hip pocket.

The billfold in the pocket was snatched
out, and rapidly the money was trans-
ferred to the assailant’s pocket. “Got any
more?” he asked the driver, who was
still held in the bead of the automatic.
The driver admitted that he had a little
silver in his left hand trouser’s pocket.

A greedy hand plunged down and with-
drew all the change, tossing back the
empty billfold to the victim.

What was to happen next, the driver
wondered. Are they going to leave me
here, or are they going to take me with
them, or .... ? He didn’t have long to
wait. He was ordered to get into the
back seat, the two youths jumping into
the front seat. One of the pair drove the
car while the second one sat sideways
keeping that threatening muzzle pointed
at him.
