Winter is now here and as the luxuriant summer growth is now being covered by snow it is time to get on out to the slopes and participate in this exciting winter sport. So far things have not really begun to blossom, cold weather has frightened away the less hardy sportsmen and women among us. However, our cold weather representa- tive, Steacy Alexander, can be seen on the hill in every type of weather encouraging the less adventuresome. Fortification with hot wine is often helpful in such weather and is perhaps the secret to Steacy's endurance. The ski club has held several executive meetings to plan more exciting events to be held in the future. Ski Races were to be held on Sunday, January 13 but cold weather forced us to shut down the hill for fear of frostbite affecting our members as they speeded down the slopes. However, the policy is to hold future races whenever the temperature is above 10°, so if you would like to enter turn up on race days to be announced. You could win one of the trophys presented at seasons end to skiers accummlating the most race points in their category. For those of you who didn't manage to attend the Mid-Winter Cabin Fever Festival held last December 8, we extend our Sympathy. The Club will be holding another ; A management consultant is the fellow who social soon and it should be lots of fun ds Calledin first ih “time tov ehars Phe for everyone so make sure not to miss it.
