The Ministry of Transportation and Highways in the Dease Lake
Highways District is compiling its Hired Equipment list and ad-
vises all persons or companies wishing to have their rentable
equipment such as trucks, backhoes, loaders, excavators, graders,
rollers, scrapers or tractors listed that they should contact the
District Highways Office, General Delivery, Dease Lake, B.C.

This position is located in an isolated area and involves working

WET TEE SHIRT CONTEST

The Cassiar Community Club held their first wet tee shirt
contest on Wednesday, January 30, in the Community
Club Lounge.

‘With a packed house and an excellent disco, contestants
were a little leary of entering because of shyness, but after
some in depth persuasion by Rick Adams, the contest got
under way with three signings.

The Tee Shirts were wetted down by some very helpful
Lounge patrons and after a very brief exposure to the pat-
rons, the first prize went to Cookie Gawryluk and the sec-
ond prize to Gerri Weisenburger. The third contestant ne-
ver did compete due to shyness and slipped away un-
noticed into the night.
