The Mine Garage, located at the mine
site, under General Foreman Bay Tracey,
has 6 foremen and 56 employees - some
work steady days and the balance work.

The shop consists of 2 stalls for mi-
nor repairs, 2 stalls for major repairs,
a Steam bay, Planned Maintenance and
service stall and a welding, which en-
ables them to work on seven vehicles

at the same time. In addition to the
seventeen 75 ton and 85 ton trucks,
they service and repair two P & H
Shovels, four Rotary Drills, a Grove
Crane and their service truck, All sho-
vel and drill maintenance and repair
work is done in the field, some of it
under extremely adverse weather con-
ditions.

The Mine Garage provides a very essen-
tial service in order that production

trucks and ambulances (approximately
100 pieces of equipment). In addition
