It schedules and lays out EQUIPMENT GARAGE The 10 Bay equipment garage, under the supervision of Foreman Al Logan,repairs and services all pickups and personnel service vehicles, all mobile mill equip- ment and the townsite grading and snow removal equipment, the manhauls; fire MINE GARAGE jee On aia ane The Mine Garage, located at the mine site, under General Foreman Bay Tracey, has 6 foremen and 56 employees - some work steady days and the balance work. 3 shifts. ‘BARBARA CAMERON —- CLERK MINE GARAGE INTERIOR MAINTENANCE routines for servicing mechanical equipment in the mine, mill and plant. The shop consists of 2 stalls for mi- nor repairs, 2 stalls for major repairs, a Steam bay, Planned Maintenance and service stall and a welding, which en- ables them to work on seven vehicles at the same time. In addition to the seventeen 75 ton and 85 ton trucks, they service and repair two P & H Shovels, four Rotary Drills, a Grove Crane and their service truck, All sho- vel and drill maintenance and repair work is done in the field, some of it under extremely adverse weather con- ditions. The Mine Garage provides a very essen- tial service in order that production trucks and ambulances (approximately 100 pieces of equipment). In addition objectives may be reached in both ore and waste. they dispatch and and repair the P&H Crane and look after the emergency generator set at the Pumphouse. This supplies water to the townsite in case of power failure. here are 12 people working in this garage on two shifts - day and after- noon, five days a week.
