These are the words of 14 year old Bere nadette Soubiroux, the girl who saw the vision of Ow Lady of Lourdes in France, for the first time mindred years ago. There were 18 occasions when the same apparition appeared to her. | was the only one to see the beautiful Lady _ works long hours every day, or to hear her voice. As time went on, numerous investigators and just plain curious onlookers were present with her at the Grotto, when the vision appeared. It proves to us that we too have an urge for God's graces. All that Mary has asked at Lourdes one hundred years ago is to return to prayer and to do Penance, Remember, the Family that Prays together, stays together. Therefore, from Sunday the 2nd lebruary until Monday the 10th we will have the Rosary and novena prayers every night at 7.00 pm, Everybody is welcome, Let us prepare our Parish Feastday in a spiritual way with our faithful presence at the de~- ' votions every night. Members of the Congregation gathered together to hear the reporta of the officers of the various organizations of the Church, and to elect the officers for the coming year, Among the positions filled were the following: People's Warden, 6 members of the Vestry Conmittee and the Diocesan S Representative. Mr. Scrimger was re~affirmed as Rector's Wardem by the Rev.D. Hambidge. Mr. C. Bronson was elected to the office of People's Warden, after having served in this office during the past years The following members of the Con- gregation were elected to the Vestry Committee for the coming year: Jd. Berry was electad to the po- sition.of Synod Representative for 1958, and Mrs. Berry was elected as substitute representative.
