Dr. Laird briefly traced the story
of the building from its first men-
tion four years ago.

The minister was guest of honor
at a dinner on Saturday night in the
Incola hotel, following the ceremony
connected with the opening of the
new courthouse.

At this function, which was at-
tended by a considerable number of
district leaders, Mr. Carson defin-
itely stated that the government is
making preparations for an out-
standing celebration to be linked with
the opening ceremonies for the Hope-
Princeton link.

The minister added that the road
will be fully completed, paved, with
all its signs in place, and the white
center marking line down prior to
the opening.
