Powder Puffs vs. Senior Citizens

Saturday afternoon, Feb. 3rd, the
Cassiar ''Powder Puffs'! challenaed the
Senior Citizens to a riotous hockey game.
The turn out was tremendous - at least 23
willina and confident powder puffs with

_the aid of two clowns and Henrietta
Crankshank roared their way to victory
against 15 brave Str Galahads. (?) The
final score of &-3 for the Powder Puffs
was inevitable as penalties of all sorts
were called against the helpless men!!'

The agate receipts of $78.00 were great-
fully received by the Brownies and Girl
Guides.

Come on ALL YE LOYAL PARTICIPANTS, treat
us to another aame before the ice melts!

Lower Post vs. Cassiar "Powder Puffs"

Saturday afternoon - March 3rd saw the
defeat of the Cassiar Powder Puffs who
played against the Lower Post Powder Puffs,

With the aid of "Pee Wee, the Clown" the
game was one of contagious hilarity. The
Lower Post team was younger and smaller but
by no means weaker as they proved to one anc
all by a 6-1 victory,

Cassiar later hosted the visitors to re-
freshments, then the Community Club sponsore
a film. The visitors day ended with the
fireworks display put on by the Lions Club
‘as a starter to their ''Games Nite!!
