Probably because the majority of us don’t speak Spanish. The fact is that music today doesn’t really have boundaries. Since then, “Aquamosh’” has become the top selling CD in Mexico. As the band describes themselves, “The music is unconventional, with- out limitations or geo- graphical restrictions.” Although most of the album is in Spanish - there is also English, French and Japanese featured throughout the entire compilation. With unmistakable —_Latino and ~ Mexican _ influ- ences, Plastilina Mosh still combines rock, lounge, jazz and hip hop elements to their breaking beats. Funny how for a Mexican band the majority of their pro- ducers are USA based. A: We’ve played in PG for the past few years and it has such an awesome audience who give appreciate us and want to hear us play that we just keep coming back. As well, we are Canadian and PG is a Canadian town that often gets forgot- ten. Q: What are your plans for the future? More touring or back into the studio? A: We're going to finish this tour then.tour in the States for a while. After that, we might go back into the studio or whatever strikes our fancy. Q: How would you describe your new album? Is it better than you others or just different and pro- gressive? A: \ts not better than any of our other albums, it is probably a little bit different and progressive since making music in an ever changing process. Q: Would you say your style of music has changed to adapt to the changing demand in the music industry? A: Not at all. We write our music for ourselves and for our fans, and not for the music industry. We just basically want to provide good Rock & Roll and entertainment. Q: Is there specific message in your music, or are you just playing for yourself and your music? A: There is no specific message unless you get the general one of just be yourself and enjoy life. | write the music for the sake of music. Q: What were/are the major influences in your music? A: The major influences were past relationships and events in my life as well as some more south- ern influences from the South States were they grow the sugar canes.
