HOCKEY HIGHLIGHTS \ .lans are being made for a trip to Whitehorse sometime in February, with possibily a visit to Cassiar by a Whitehorse team prior to it. It is possible that Cassiar may participate in the near future in a four team tournament between Fort Nelson, Ross River, Watson Lake and Cassiar. The series between Rattray and the Wolves continues. To date it stands at one win and one tie for Rattray, and a loss and a tie for the Wolves. The Asbestos Kings have an unbeaten record against Watson Lake, taking three games from Watson. A juvenile team is being formed of boys be- tween the ages of 15 and 18, under the auspices of Dave Jackson. They had their first workout on Wednesday, January 24th. Any boys inter- ested in joining the team would be welcome at the Wednesday practices. Sonny Yeo is working with the two midget all- star teams, getting them into shape for some games with Watson Lake. The photographs below show some of the “younger” players in action... .!
