The Over the Edge team is slowly becoming the best newspaper crew in the history of journalism, but we still are not exactly where we want to be. You see, we are still missing one of the most pivotal members of news room, and that is the position of Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator is like the behind the scenes person who makes sure that the paper looks as good as it can. Using programs like Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to magically craft the product you are now holding in your hands. While we are still short one Production Coordinator, this past week we finally hired a new Sports Editor. Your duties would include, but not be limited to, design and layout of the paper, taking photographs and writing the occasional article or two. A successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of both Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Each Over the Edge Editorial board memeber is required to volunteer at least 30 hours a month, 12 of which are in office hours.
