WATSON LAKE NEWS...

. The new ice arena is ready for ice,
waiting for the cold weather. The ex-
terior work was performed by a local
contractor, with interior work done
by volunteers. Dressing rooms and
concesSions are still in the old ar-
ena. We expect full completion of the
arena late in 1977.

. Octoberfest put on by the Ski Club
was very successful. Everyone repor-
ted a good time, and a number of
stout hearts participated in the Beer
Drinking contests. German Sausages
donated by Campground Services were
greatly appreciated. Music by the
Northernaires. Many thanks to the
folks involved in making it a memor-
able Octoberfest!
