had emerced. The little chick gets

On the 12th day the feathers
are becoming more and more visible.
The little chicks claws and toes
nave formed. The chicks are now
arowing very rapidly.

On the 16th day the chicks egg
tooth was almost formed, he was
cramped against the shelf for space.

On the 20th day the chick awoke
in the shell and starts peevinga.

The shell is cracked, the chick
is makine a larger crack. When
the crack was almost all around the
shell, he lets his wings out and
the shell breaks wide open. He
was exhausted and lies down for
15 minutes. Then he kicks and kicks
until he gets right out of the shell
He will lay down to rest until he
is dry.

After 24 hours we removed the
chick from the incubator and put
him in his house which is called a

bruder. He will eat bread mixed
with milk. He will also eat chicken
feed. He drinks water or milk.
