16 TRIP TO ONTARIO.....by Dani Michael It was May 26, and I was very happy because this was the day that I was leaving for Aylmer, Ontario. I was very excited. We had to fly for 2 days and overnight in Edmonton, before arriving to London. In London we were met by Mr, and Mrs. Joel Cadesky who then drove us to Aylmer. When we got to Aylmer that night we got a quick tour of the school and then driven to were we were staying. I was staying with Mr. & Mrs. Wilkinson with their 2 daughters, ages 12 and 7. On Monday we just stayed in the school and listened to classes. During this day two reportors came and took our pictures. On Tuesday we visited a pheasant farm which I found very interesting. I saw all of the stages that the pheasants go through from egg to full grown. If any- one goes to Ontario, I would firmly suggest that you go there. I can't remem- ber the name but I know that it is on Ding-a-ling Street. Ask anyone in Aylmer, and I am quite sure that they will direct you there. In the next few days we saw the Times Journal (local newspaper) Telephone com- pany, Tabbacco farm, mushroom farm, turkey farm and the Lagoons. All of this was very interesting. On Friday night I left for Toronto with my billets. That night we saw a few interesting places, Ontario place, and Sports Hall of Fame. Tse next morning, Saturday, we saw the magnificent thing ever. The thing that everyone wants to see. Niagra Falls. These falls are really fasinating. We spent our whole day at the falls. That night we left for Aylmer. The next day we left for Toronto again to see a Lion Safari. We saw quite a few animals, considering that it was raining. Monday we left for Cassiar. But unfort- unately we had engine troubles in Winnipeg and that caused us to miss our plane in Edmonton, so we had to overnight in Edmonton. Tuesday we arrived in Watson, At last! That ended my trip to Aylmer. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Olson for organizing everything. My class mates for help earning the money. The Cassiar people for money for the cause and, Mr. Cadesky for making arrangements on the other end, kK kK Ke & & & hothouse, Aekds, 4.
