Pa NOTES | VISITORS . SAFETY In just 78 more days, this year will have ended. That is, 76 more calendar days, Out of these, only 65 are working days. These should certainly be accident free days, every one of them. ‘Those of us who were here in the early part of the season will recall that, by your efforts at prevention, not a single lost time accident occurred here for 97 days. That is the period fram February 6th to May i4th. | What makes for an accident-free period? Is it less exposure to risk * Is it good luck ? I am sure we are agreed that it is not due to mich chance, though that may be a factor at times. It is due most of all to an attitude of safety consciousness. in this res- pect everyone is important regardless of their category or length of service, Remember this ~ if an unsafe act or condition existe or persists, without correction, it will produce an injury. This is why everyone can report unsafe acta, or conditions to their supervisor. Lets have one act of safety every day from everyone ; Cc.
