much good
in the worst
of us and so
much bad in
the best of

us, who are

That Day

Where were you, What do you recall
| woke up in Dream
But all | could hear were the screams

| think not.
How do | know?
It is the intuition of my

Who are you to
Call my name?

And who are you Species to see past the likes BER CMIMTelel@ | People running, mega structures crumbling

To want me? of you. lateclaitelatsae | Policemen, fire fighters, & helpers stumbling
of others The world was in shock

Do you think you So, stay back, you If only we could turn back the clock

Can push him aside

And take his place as
The one who will ever be
true to me?

The Night Before Finals

“unknown Time does not move the same

As we know there is someone to blame
Will this be something the world can END
Or will this be the beginning of wold end

Lost are days
of spring

You sighed |

and let me in WHERE WERE YOU, WHAT DO YOU RECALL

One thing for sure, the pain we have seen

Keep the Will be etched in our minds or somewhere between

Twas the night before finals
And all through the college,
The students were praying
For last minute knowledge

Most were quite sleepy,

But none touched their beds
While visions of essays
Danced in their heads

In my own room

| had been pacing
And dreading exams

| soon would be facing

My roommate was speechless
Her nose in her books

And my comments to her
Drew unfriendly looks

| drained all the coffee,
And brewed a new pot
No longer caring

That my nerves were shot

| stared at my notes

But my thoughts were muddy
My eyes went a blur

| just couldn’t study

“Some pizza might help”
| said with a shiver

But each place | called
Refused to deliver

I’d nearly concluded

that life was too cruel,
with futures depending

On grades made in school

When all of a sudden

Our door opened wide
And Patron Saint Put It Off
Ambled inside

His spirit was careless

His manner was mellow
All of a sudden

He started to bellow

“On Psych notes, on Chem
notes

on last year exams

On wing it and sling it

And last minute crams”

His message delivered

He vanished from sight
But we heard him laughing
Outside in the night

Your teachers have pegged you
So just do your best

Happy finals to all

And to all a good test.

too late

Grew together
with your skin

There will be many questions to ask

Through all of this, it is our land

For some have already paid
You shall never be alone
