The local player scored a game- high 21 points last year against the University College of the Fraser Valley (UCFV) and the head coach, Zane Robison, expects even more from him this season, adding that “he’s one of the hardest working guys on the team as well as being a very intelligent player’. Todd worked hard during the off-season to improve his shooting skills, and hopes to see positive results in his defensive performance as well. Todd will be battling for the shooting guard position, and if he remains healthy, Over The Edge Page 8 _ The Timberwolf should be able to nail his cov- eted position. Although the practices take up most of his time, Todd remains a committed student, taking four courses in busi- ness and eco- nomics _ this semester while also holding a part- time job. Todd’s dedi- cation to the team during the summer through his fund-raising efforts leads Coach Robison to call him “a great ambassador not only for the basketball team, but for the university as well”. The Timberwolves’ | first home game is November 15, against the Okanagan University College, and on the 16th, Todd’s favorite team, UCFV, is coming to town, so come out and watch Todd work his magic from behind the three-point line.
