The following is a brief summary of some of the results which were obtained by the writer in an investigation of the geology and mineral deposits of the Telkwa district. The field work was done during the season of 1915 under the direction of the Geo- logical Survey of Canada. This work was supplemented by a considerable amount of petrography and mineralography carried on in the laboratories of the Massachusetts Institute of Tech- nology and under the very helpful and inspiring supervision of the geological staff. LOCATION. The region in which these veins occur comprises approximately 40 miles from east to west and 22 miles from north to south, and 349 = Siti.
