Al Taylorts rink (which was originally skipped by Andre Beguin) came ous second best with one win and the loss to Kennealy. Jerry Kamlah who whipped through with five straight wins in his group, failed to place in the prizes. Kennealy's rink was made up of Gary Truscott, Lloyd Selk and John Browning. With Taylor were Sack Thornicroft, Dave Acason and Jim Rivard. At the moment the Vice-Skips event for the A.I.M. Steel Trophy is in progress with 12 rinks entered in the competition. Allowing for group ties, and, we believe there will be ties, the finals will be played by the week-end. . The meet was very successful with 26 skiers competing in Slalom and Giant, Slalom events. Four junior boys came some keen competition for our junior fellows. Trophies.were awarded for the best total time in both races.
