Page9 HOMEOWNERS TAX Studeute persistance A revision of the Student Assistance Program to provide more funds for post-secondary students ‘with the greatest need was announced today by the Hon. Eileen Dailly, Minister of Education. Under the new program, students with a demonstra- ted need will receive up to $3300. compared to $2900. last year, and $1800. the year before. However, our government has a responsibility to live within its bud- get while meeting its commitments to finance other, much needed programs.
