This arti- cles is to give you an inside look at some things that are not publicly known and also some lasting remarks as | prepare to retire from repre- senting students and my uni- versity life. Delisle has brought a motion forward to have NUGSS pay about $1,000 dollars for hockey jerseys his team. * NUGSS contributed $3500 to EARS to help buy equip- ment for broadcasting. * Jose started a spirit com- mittee, but to my knowl- | edge has never met or done anything. * NUGSS spent $1,975 on photocopying, $2,734 on office supplies, and $2,133 on telephones for students and club use. * Jose and Emil have used the office and its supplies for personal use including the possibility of printing their election parapherna- lia. There is quite a few things that students do not know about their Student Society, but they should hold every Director accountable for. Your stu- dent society is in the busi- ness of serving the stu- dents, not Director's indi- vidual or friend’s needs. | urge student to voice their concerns, so that their money can be spent more effectively. The financial records are available to students by mak- ing an appointment with the Director of Finance and meeting minutes are posted on the web.
