ts Pouce Coupe and Kiskatinaw rivers and their numerous tributaries, several of which have a continuous flow, The portion known es the Pouce Coupe prairie lies chiefly slong the westerly side of the Pouce Coupe river, extending between townships 77 to SO and is abeut 30 per cent open land with small bluffs ofpoplar and willow serub. Another area of nearly open lands is site uated on the westerly side of the Kiskatinaw river in townships 78 ani 79. Other amealler areas of epen or nearly open lands occur, but generally the remainder of this district can be described as being timbered chiefly with peplar. Good spruce is to be founé in township 80, ranges 15 and 16; township 78, ranges 16 ané L73; and in patehes in the propesed forest reserve in township 77 ranges 15 and 16. Outside of this the timber is of no eommercial value. The entire dietrict lies in the Pesee River basin. The eastern cart is drained through the Pouee Coupe river, while the western portion is dreineé by th Kiskatineaw river. ‘The nature of the topezraphy afforés goog natural drainage.
