YUKON MEDICAL FEES Bécause of generally higher costs, Yukon Medical fees are approximately 20% higher than B.C. fees. This has caused some confus- ion when patients get bills from Yukon medical practitioners or Clinics for the difference. The M.S.A. contract specifies that B.C. Medical fees will be paid in full. For higher fees the M.S.A. pays only the B.C. schedule, the patient being responsible for the difference. Patients are referred to White- horse because of geographical and transportation convenience and be- cause it is usually possible to arrange for hospital beds there on short notice, unlike the situation in larger centres where sometimes one has to wait for weeks for a bed for all save grave emergencies. x * VETS ASSOCIATION Poppy collection was as follows: Wreaths - 55.50 Poppies - 92.08 $ 147.58 The Vets Association wish to thank all the groups who particip- ated in Remembrance Day, also the many people who purchased poppies.
