If you want to get a hold of it, amazon or some other internet retailer is your only hope. Why would you go to all the trouble of try- ing to find a rather expensive Japanese import? This CD rocks, plain and sim- ple. The Seatbelts is the band of Yoko Kanno, who is a famous Japanese composer. She is the brains behind some of the best anime soundtracks to come out of It's got 15 of the years’ hottest tracks from Blink 182, Limp Bizkit, Sum 41, r'Win your OWN FREE COPY of BIG SHINY TUNES 6! | : Weezer, Radiohead, Puddle Of Mudd, Gorillaz, Moby, Default and more. The Cowboy Bebop soundtracks are on a totally different level than anything Kanno has ever done before. Bebop is an amazing jazz album. What can | possibly say about the music? Well the words incredible, amazing, gut wrenching come to mind. The range of emotion that Kanno can capture in her music is mind boggling. The tunes on Bebop range from unbeat piano Jazz to simple Hint! Lc harmonica tunes, all execut- ed with skill and talent. Some tracks are toe tapping big band Jazz that will have you dancing while you listen to them, like the incredibly fun song, ‘Bad Dog, no Biscuits’. The true standout tracks on this CD are the slower num- bers though. The song ‘Space Lion’ has such a beautiful yet sad saxophone line in it that it will almost bring you to tears to hear it.
