CLARK - TAPIO On July 9th, 1971, friends and relatives gathered together for the wedding of Anna Marie Tapio and Robert John Clark in St. Helen's Church, South Westminister. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tapio of Delta. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clark of Oakville, Ontario. The bride wore a long white gown, fashioned on empire lines with a front inset of ruffled lace and carried a bouquet of white carnat- ions and yellow roses. Maid of Honor was Pat Tapio, sister of the bride and Karen Clark as Matron of Honor. Bestman for his brother was Paul Clark and ushers were Harry Gereau and John Tapio. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harris, Miss Jody Budnik, Mr. and Mrs. T. Keefe and family and Mr. Trevor Gambell. SLANA - DRZIMOTTA On July 31, 1971 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Miss Sonja Drzimotta and Mr. John Slana were united in marriage by Father MacAllister. Miss Pat Storie was bridesmaid and bestman being Stanko Golob. Attending the wedding, from Montreal, Quebec was the groom's mother Mrs. S. Topolchnik. Friends and relatives of the bride and groom enjoyed a lovely dinner and dancing at the reception which was held at the Cassiar Curling Lounge.
