Dear Sir:

Reference your letter of March 28, 1977, and our
subsequent telephone discussions pertaining to 128,000 lbs.
gross vehicle weight from Cassiar to Fort Nelson:

To date, we have not yet received comment from either
the B.C. Ministry of Highways or Federal Department of Public
Works, who are both evaluating the effects that constant loadings
of this nature will have on road surfaces and structures.

When these reports are received, you will be advised
accordingly; however, I must advise that I do not expect
favourable reports. :
