A. glaciense and A. delicatum n. sp. have the firgt ornament only. A. mahaffiin. sp., has the second al succeeded by the third. The early Karnian species A. helenae Renz from Argolis has the first style of ornament, succeeded vy the second; thus A. glaciense and A. delicatum have surface ornament gintler’ to that of the inner whorls of A. helenae, and A. laurenci has surface Se ere similar to that of the outer whorls of A. helenae. The early Karnian A. seementatum iojetsovice apvears to have the second style of ornament only, the cane costas or striae on the flat ‘ribs! a ooine clearly in Mojsisovics intra rionae but the deeo furrows aré-more evenly “spaced than in 4. laurenci. The Tiadinien i A. redlichi Kittl from Dobrudscha also apoears to have the second Rares only, but has more evenly spaced furrows and ig more comoressed than A. laurenci. The late Ladinian A. loczyi Bienes from Bakony may have ve second ornament only, but merely the core, not the anne ae tes peat is preserved; the furrows are closer and more aes Boece’ seein in A. ; laurenci.
