Fun and Knowledge is an event that
you will enjoy. This event provides a
unique opportunity to learn and
have fun while cross country skiing
from station to station testing your
knowledge and outdoor skills. All
ages and levels of both outdoor
knowledge and skiing ability will find
something enjoyable and challenging
by participating in this event. There
3s a small:cost assotiated with the Ski
for Fun and Knowledge, which will
‘be: used*to promoting cross country
skiing in the Vanderhoof arca. The
annual event is being held this year
on February 1, 2004, starting at
12:00 noon at the Nechako Sporting
Association Trail system, approxi-
mately 6km west of Vanderhoof,

The UNBC College of Science and Management held their awards ceremony on January 23, 2004 in the
Bently Centre. The awards nights honored the donors and recipients of the numerous scholarships and bur-
saries that UNBC awards to its science students. The College of Arts and Social Sciences held its award night
